Welcome! I am Jacobien, preferably Jac (26) Born and bred in Amsterdam, I graduated with a master degree in Journalism at Kingston University London. Currently, I work as a a freelancer at Het Parool & Trouw (DPG Media) at the newsdesk.
In 2017, I enrolled at the Sorbonne University Paris for Langues Etrangères Appliquées (Bachelor of Foreign Languages and Business), opting to enhance my academic career after working and living abroad in Sydney, New York, Milan and London. My interest towards journalism has increased since I started my minor in international relations and gender studies at the University of Montréal in 2021. I relish reading law articles, philosophical observations, foreign and political reports and movie reviews. I hope to become an all-round correspondent one day, making radio & tv daily.
